Indoor Flying
If you're looking for a quick and simple way to get flying you can't beat the Hirobo XRB Sky Robo shown here. Just unpack the heli charge the battery and you're flying. By far the best training tool we've seen!
Even for experienced pilots, it's the best indoor flyer. Foam blades don't damage much when you wreck, and it's even great for practicing nose-in hovering and backwards flight when the weather isn't cooperating.
Making the Step Up
Nitro powered helicopters offer the stability and power needed to do just about anything you can imagine. Whether you're interested in flying slow and scale like the real ones or doing all out 3D aerobatics this is the class of helicopter to get.

Want to try your hand at flying an RC Helicopter without taking the plunge? Try a simulator for your computer. RealFlight G3 comes complete with it's own transmitter that plugs into your computer's USB port. These are great training aids and entertainment even after you've learned the basics. We still use them today to try out and learn new maneuvers!
